First Lady of the Journey

I'm in my mid-30's, and am an ordinary girl on a journey to help my husband grow a church that God is proud of and actively working at. This is a look (mostly by picture) into my mind and feelings on things that happen to me as a first lady, wife and mother.

Ladies Retreat 2006

This weekend we took our ladies up to North Conway for the GSBC ladies retreat. The retreat was themed...The picture of a G.I.F.T.ED Woman...based off Sharon Hoffman's book entitled the same. It stands for Godly Influencers For Today. We had 20 of us go in all. What a great time we had hearing the truth from Sharon, fellowship and enjoying new friendships as well as rekindling some older ones. We even had a great time "posing" for the camera. In all this weekend was a huge success. We saw two of our women mend a hurt between each other...we saw many of our new baby christians growing right before our eyes...we have several who are feeling conviction in the truth that was spoken over them...we saw ladies bond in a healthy way...and lastly I had an opportunity to shepherd some very wonderful ladies for two days. I pray that the results of this weekend will have an impact on our families, our church and our community. Thank you Lord for all you have done and continue to do!
